We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join us as a: Medical Excellence Lead (m/f/x) (Full-time / Permanent / Location: Milan – hybrid role with smart working option) The Opportunity As a Medical Excellence Lead (MEL), you will play a pivotal role in our medical function, ensuring excellence across various medical domains.
The Role Evidence Generation Oversight: Provide technical advice and manage the harmonization of local evidence generation activities across all Therapeutic Areas (TAs), ensuring adherence to internal approval processes.
Patient Initiatives Management: Oversee and manage patient-related initiatives, including Patient Support Programs (PSPs) and other patient engagement activities, collaborating with the market access department for patient association engagement.
Medical Publications Oversight: Oversee the local medical publications plan across different TAs, offering technical advice and ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
MSL Role Harmonization: Standardize and promote the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role within the organization, monitor performance against KPIs, and act as the Med Champion for Veeva.
Scientific Training and KPI Monitoring: Oversee the annual scientific training plan and monitor ISO 9002 KPIs.
Your Skills and Experience: A degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as pharmacology, pharmacy, medicine, or biosciences.
A PhD in a relevant scientific field is highly desirable.
An MSc in Public Health or Epidemiology is preferred.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Familiarity with therapy areas relevant to CSL Behring is an advantage.
Ability to critically review scientific data.
Capability to balance medical insights with business solutions.
Fluency in the local language and English.
Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Head of Medical Affairs Italy.
