We are looking for a Front Office Manager to manage our guest-focused Front Office team.
The Front Office Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Front Office Department, ensuring that the service standards and excellence are delivered to ensure that our guests receive the highest standard of service.
The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity. He/she is passionate about service and willing to grow professionally.
He/She will report to the Front of the House Manager.
Main duties and responsibilities: Greeting guests and ensuring that they receive an efficient and friendly check-in and check-out. Rooming our guests. Answering enquiries and providing information about the hotel and local area to guests. Organising special requests and communicating with all departments within the hotel to ensure that our guests receive the highest standard of service. Implementing the Leading Quality Assurance Standards. Supporting, training, and supervising front office staff. Supervising workload during shifts. Maintaining working relationships and communicating with all departments. Allocating guest rooms according to the reservation requests and guests' needs. Verifying that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated. Resolving guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously. Conducting regularly scheduled meetings with the front office team. Maximizing room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Ensuring implementation of all hotel policies and house rules. Operating all aspects of Front Office computer systems. Ensuring answers to all messages and emails in a timely and professional manner. Monitoring all V.I.P.'s special guests and requests. Reviewing daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit. Reviewing Front office log book and guest feedback on a daily basis. Maintaining an organised and comprehensive filing system with all documentation. Performing Duty Manager duties and other duties requested by management. Requirements: At least 5 years of previous professional experience preferably at international level in the same role. Fluent in English and Italian. A third language is required. Knowledge of Hotel Management software. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Other requirements: Effective and punctual written and verbal communication in order to update relevant colleagues and department. Exhibiting the ability to successfully work together united within a group whilst showing respect and willingness to share information and skills. Willingness to continuously develop oneself. Accurate and precise in all duties and checks carried out. Demonstrating a sense of urgency and taking ownership of one's tasks and responsibilities. Ability to deal with multiple tasks and alter behaviour/priorities as changes occur, remaining calm in pressurised situations. Benefits: We offer a permanent contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 2, Front Office Manager. Start date: July 2024. Salary as per CCNL + increase (Monthly Gross Salary around € 2.600), separate payslip for 13°, 14° and TFR.
