About The Role Do you want to build a unique Sales Expertise in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence, one of the fastest growing industries in the technology space today?
Do you want to know how to sell the most advanced A.I. technologies that allowed Google, Facebook, and Amazon to grow (10x) in the last five years?
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales operations. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, ideally you should have some previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas, although full training will be given to exceptional candidates. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also be responsible for some account management. If you are self-motivated, results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll learn How to identify novel use cases where AI can generate exponential value, through using the latest market research tools and by prospecting.How to explain AI technologies to non-technical people when presenting our company to clients.How to connect with leads when performing outbound phone and email marketing campaigns.How to generate demand for our technology, by designing, organising, and promoting episodes of our webinar series "AI sparks."How to nurture existing prospects by creating and sharing case studies.How to engage with AI thought leaders by finding guests for our podcast program "The business of AI."How to spot new AI trends by participating in industry events (we hope that it will be possible to do that in person soon)...and this is not the end You will also master cutting-edge tools for online sales. In particular, you will learn how to use:
salesnavigator to prospect.import.io to gather sales intelligence data.activecampaign.com to organise outbound email marketing campaigns.lusha.com and apollo.com to find, segment and organise leads for prospecting campaigns.zoominfo.com to source intent data to orient our paid campaigns toward the most promising accounts.cloudtalk.io to create workflows for inbound and outbound calls.zapier.com and other no-code platforms to configure a bespoke CRM.Finally, you will collaborate with veteran online sales experts in the following fields:
Google AdWords.LinkedIn outreach.and you will manage:
Contractors for lead generation / data entry / web development.What Success Looks Like? In 1 month… You will learn about the current state of Artificial Intelligence, Gemmo's value proposition, and the market fits for our solutions.You will complete a project demonstrating your ability to effectively identify, research, and develop a strategic plan for a prime prospect.You will effectively use our sales tools (above) to enhance productivity and results and manage a Business Development process, demonstrating the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and sales.In 3-6 months… You will have ramped into a productive role, and consistently achieve your targets.You will be a thought partner working in conjunction with Account Executives to determine the most effective strategies for achieving stated objectives, and adapt as needed.You will be well-versed in the AI space and where Gemmo fits in the landscape, and you have the ability to deliver a strong, polished pitch and navigate complex prospect questions.Ideal Skills You Can Bring: Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Track record of achieving sales quotas.Familiarity with the information technology industry.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Persistence and a winning attitude.What you'll get: Performance-based bonus (Uncapped).Have the autonomy to build something with an enthusiastically supportive team.Learn from working at the highest levels and on the most strategic priorities of the company, including from world-class investors and advisors.About us: We're on a mission to grow businesses by deploying novel Artificial Intelligence algorithms into existing products.
