Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.Reviews IS and IT programs to assess overall compliance with plans and policies and alignment with business and operational requirements.Determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.Manages, leads, administers project resources while monitoring project activities and resources to mitigate risks. Implements or maintains quality assurance processes.Develops and implements policies and procedures to support the availability, reliability and accessibility of IT and operational systems and IT infrastructure to support overall mission goals and objectives.This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce position that requires an Engineering and Technical Management, Practitioner acquisition certification. The incumbent has 60 months to earn this certification. Incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66. Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66.
This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role 752 Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Participate in continuous professional development program as described in DoD M8140.03. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous professional development must be documented and completed in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
