About the role As a Customer Activation Executive, you will support and work as business partners with our sales teams to ensure they have all the insight, growth drivers & tools they need to deliver brilliant execution of Diageo's commercial plan.
Responsibilities: Brilliant Execution of commercial plans:Drive and facilitate the implementation of channel commercial activation and growth drivers plan.Own the planning of activation and work with the sales team to ensure excellent execution.Lead implementation of key growth driver initiatives.Ensure efficient choice of outlets per brand and segmentation for all sales drivers activation.Develop pragmatic solutions that overcome operational barriers.Diageo is establishing competitive advantage with customers:Leverage field visits and internal data sources to conduct regular analysis of competition & market.Highlight opportunities within channel and region of responsibility.Ensure efficient management of all material to sales team/outlets.Supervise and evaluate our performance:Supervise and report execution results of activity vs set KPIs.Decision maker for:Execution: Logistics concerning outlet activation.Budget responsibilities: Budget tracking of commercial activation.About you To be successful in this role, you will need:
Understanding of the commercial opportunity: Customer understanding and outlet segmentation.Brilliant Execution: Ability to plan for excellence in execution and monitor in market execution.Lead Performance: Understanding of spend, volume, margin, and profit performance.Find Solutions: Imaginative in finding solutions and pursuing opportunities.Consistent performance: Identify clear priorities and focus on them.Be Authentic: Build relationships and demonstrate integrity.Other requirements: Project management knowledge.Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables on tight lead times.Strong analytical/excel skills.Previous channel/customer environment experience is desirable.Working with Us Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly.
