LGC offers an exciting inside sales opportunity to join our team, supporting the sales and distribution of our ATCC portfolio across Italy and other EMEA regions if needed.
Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth by engaging with customers via phone or email and supporting our Core ATCC Team and Field Sales Personnel (FAS).
This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work 50% from our office in Milan and 50% from home.Key ResponsibilitiesManage inquiries, produce accurate quotations, and follow up to improve conversionsCollaborate with sales teams to tailor responses for customer needs, especially for Italian tendersProvide first-level technical support and escalate issues when necessaryImplement local strategies aligned with the EMEA sales and marketing planMaintain service levels, act as a liaison between Order Entry and Customer Service, and use ERP systems and Salesforce to support salesPreferred Qualifications and SkillsEducational Background: Degree in Life Sciences or a related field to Cell BiologyExperience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales activities within a scientific environment is requiredLanguage Skills: Proficiency in Italian and English and communication abilitiesStrong organizational skills: Prioritization capabilities aligned with commercial activitiesTechnical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteOur offerComprehensive training and mentoring for a successful startFriendly, supportive, and dynamic Environment, vibrant team in an innovative, international company and diverse customersCareer Growth in achieving sales targets and contributing to the success of the core ATCC TeamWork-life balance through flexible and hybrid work modelsOpen working culture that focuses on integrity, respect, passion and curiosity for future-oriented, creative solutionsPermanent employment contract and attractive employer benefitsJoin our international team and drive our mission of 'Science for a Safer World' forward
