The Project Manager is mainly responsible for managing Customer Orders, monitoring and shipping by the requested delivery date and associated margin targets resulting from the specific Sales Area linked to the respective operational plan.This position requires basic knowledge of centrifugal pumps and/or rotating equipment, material specifications, and metallurgy.
Knowledge of IT tools completes the skills profile.
The Project Manager is expected to build solid relations with Sales/ComOps and Customers through constant telephone use, written correspondence, and face-to-face visits along with Sales/ComOps.
Network relations with the overall EMA Parts Team are key for the success of the position, and availability to travel, when required, is essential.Position includes, but is not limited to:Support for weekly Production meetingsSupport to Credit Collection teamManagement of Customer ClaimsInterface with Internal and External Production TeamsPosition Requirements:Ability to work in a teamTechnical Bachelor's degree is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome to apply0-1 year experienceCommitment to resultsVery good English communication skills; a third language is a great plusExperience in Project Management is a plusGood proficiency in MS Office packages (Excel, Access)Flowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
