Relationship Manager - Energy & Infrastructure FinanceCDI14069 Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking has a longstanding presence in Italy. We serve corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors active in the country, drawing on the combined expertise of our 75 plus Milan Branch team members and our business lines globally.
We accompany our clients on the strategic development of their businesses, providingM&A advisory, acquisition finance, capital raising in the debt and equity capital markets, strategic equity financing, project finance for the infrastructure and real estate sectors, and capital markets solutions and flow products for investment and hedging purposes across equity and fixed income asset classes. To all this we add our global leadership in green & sustainable finance to support our clients in evolving their activities towards a more sustainable footing.
As part of the Energy & Infrastructure Team, the Vice President will work with senior investment bankers supporting the a.m. Project Finance activities, gaining a considerable exposure to senior level and client discussions due to the bank's inclusive culture and business-oriented approach. In this role, the resource will gain a comprehensive overview of corporate investment banking and structured finance solutions.
Key responsibilities
Support the origination of new transactions Preparation of commercial proposals and/or presentation to clients Responsibility for the design, building or review and maintenance of complex financial models, and related interaction with clients Preparation, in conjunction with senior members, in preparing internal commercial / credit committee notes Liaising with external advisors during the due diligence process and negotiation of the financial documentation Interacting with the bank's product teams based either in Italy or in other international offices Interacting with clients, investors and other lenders as part of the origination, structuring and distribution of transactions Carry out all internal tasks to achieve the closing of the transactions Supporting Syndication team for all O2D activities, as well as Portfolio team to execute the handover of transactions post-closing Requirements
• At least 5 years minimum experience in Project Finance field, with focus on energy and infrastructure sectors
• Critical thinking, business acumen and strong attention to details
• Analytical and modelling skills and ability to work on complex excel financial models
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent ability to work in team
• Previous experience in banking considered a plus
• Fluency in both English and Italian (written and verbal)
