Position Description
Vantage is looking for an ambitious Senior Project Manager to drive excellence in project management, systems use, standardisation, and coordination efforts across a wide spectrum of ongoing construction projects. Must be able to foster a positive and collaborative working environment. This role is based in Frankfurt.
Essential Job Functions
Establish the procedure for communication between the wider Vantage team, the consultant team and Contractors.
Establish the Change Management Process for the project and manage the process.
Manage the Vantage team, consultant team and Contractor to establish all key project processes.
Manage the Project Risk Register and provide input into quantitative risk analysis reviews.
Prepare and issue reports for the Construction Director.
Proactively manage and monitor the performance of the consultant team, Contractor and vendors.
Lead the coordination of alternative viability studies and drive implementation of outcomes.
Support in discussions with neighbours and other third parties.
Review the General Contractor's Construction Plan and make recommendations.
Establish a structure and procedure for quality management.
Monitor procurement progress status and actively mitigate challenges.
Lead Value Engineering exercises and related feasibility studies.
Ensure that all works are completed in line with Vantage HSE requirements.
Undertake regular Site inspections and drive required mitigation measures.
Agree all test certificates and approvals required from the Professional Team and Contractor.
Manage the consultant team and Contractor to prepare reports on proposed variations.
Liaise with the VANTAGE Operations team and prepare a handover plan.
Lead and manage all parties to prepare Substantial/Practical Completion documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Construction/Engineering or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
Expected travel is approx. 10%, but may grow and evolve over time.
English language mandatory, German preferred, at least B-Level.
