The Pre-Sales Organization
The Pre-Sales Organization is a key interface to our customers and prospects, working closely with the sales team and business partners to support the overall sales effort.
Pre-sales are instrumental in proving the technical and business value of our solutions, to drive revenue.
The teams work mainly geographically, sometimes having an additional industry and / or product focus.
How you will spend your time as our next VP Pre-Sales EMEA
- Lead a multi-cultural, multi-lingual team of Solution, Enterprise and Partner Enablement Architects across Europe, managed by an existing team of local Presales Managers
- Ensure all teams support functional and technical requirements properly to attain monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue goals
- Ensure coverage for customer development, technical partner enablement and marketing support activities
- Be the Go-To person for the SVP EMEA for product and product strategy related questions and GTM initiatives, represent Presales on all Sales planning and forecast meetings
- Technically oversee the solutions offered in strategic sales opportunities and get personally involved where needed
- Liaise with Product Management and Customer Success to ensure the solution offered will cover the business needs
- Visit major customers and partners across the EMEA region on a regular basis
- Ensure the skill set of local teams so that they can provide satisfying coverage of the entire Qlik portfolio and business value selling
- Cooperate closely with the regional Presales leaders in other parts of the world
- Support business development activities, be a spokesperson on roadshows or other public speaking events
- Drive operational excellence and discipline with all EMEA presales team members
- Drive innovation and continuous learning in the organization
You will be successful if you
- Have at least 8 years of experience in a Presales and/or Consulting management capacity
- Have successfully managed a team of managers and remote teams before
- Have a deep level of technical knowledge and practical experience in the areas of BI (Qlik is a plus), Databases, Cloud Technologies and AI
- Possess excellent presentation and writing skills in English as a working language
- Can present convincingly in front of a CXO level audience
- Are highly self-driven in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders
- Have a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, have shown the ability to manage people in different cultures, and can communicate proactively and closely with all stakeholders
- Can work independently and manage multiple complex projects at the same time
