Program & Communications Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and talented **Program & Communications Assistant** to join our VITA Accelerator team and assist with various aspects of executing our acceleration program.
As an intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our Sr Program Manager, helping with the program coordination and logistics, contributing to event management efforts and social media initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the dynamic field of digital health innovation, startup acceleration and venture capital investment.
You will be able to learn about the digital health field from the best professionals in the industry.
You will get to know and interact with the multiple players of the digital health and startup ecosystem, including pharma companies, VC investors, research hospitals, entrepreneurs, startups and other digital health & pharma industry organization.
**Activities & Main Responsibilities**
- Acceleration Program Support: Assist the VITA Accelerator team in coordinating and organizing the acceleration program activities, including scheduling meetings and workshops, preparing materials, and supporting startups and partners with day-to-day operational needs and logistics.
- Social Media Support: Help manage VITA Accelerator's social media presence by creating and curating engaging content, scheduling posts, monitoring social media channels, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Event Management Support: Collaborate with the team to plan and execute various events, such as demo days, workshops, and networking sessions.
This includes logístical coordination, attendee registration, on-site support, and post-event evaluation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams of Accelerace and Healthware Group to support the common activities.
**Qualifications**
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business administration, marketing, communications, bioscience or bioengineering, medical or a related field.
- Language & Communication Skills: Fluent in both Italian and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
The ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders is essential.
- Passion for Digital Health: A strong interest in the digital health and startup industry and a desire to contribute to the transformation of healthcare.
- Tech & Social Media Savvy: Comfortable working with various digital tools and platform, familiar with major social media platforms (especially LinkedIn).
- Event Management Skills: Basic knowledge of event planning and management, including logístical coordination and attendee communication.
- Proactive and Detail-Oriented & Team Player: Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and stay focused, work alone and in a distributed team
