As our new Sales Account Manager , you will be responsible for the success of our Services & Support solutions (Agilent CrossLab) in Northern Italy, promoting and selling service contracts to assigned accounts.
The broad portfolio of services and the help from support teams will allow you to propose Asset Management, Lab-wide Enterprise Solutions, Multi-Vendor Services, Relocations and Customer Education.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing contracts and generating new business to reach your financial targets.
Initially, you will work closely with a Senior Key Account Manager to quickly transfer the necessary consultative sales expertise and reach the required level of independence to manage a Sales Territory with full accountability.
This is an exciting role in an international team, where you will be responsible for: Managing the installed base inventory, service levels and contract set-up Consistently monitoring the contract performance Creatively tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements Generating new business possibilities and identifying sales opportunities using the full portfolio available Driving account plans for growth Collaborating closely with the local Field Service organization, the Instrument Sales Teams and the other members of the Service Sales team.
For this role, you would be ideally located in the Milan , Bergamo or the Brescia area and will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in the North of Italy (a company car will be available to you).
Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background: University degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharma...) Ideally sales/inside sales experience selling scientific solutions (products or services) Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders Knowledge of / experience with a CRM software would be an advantage Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English A valid driving license On a personal level, you are proactive , outgoing and customer focused .
You also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with many external and internal partners.
You show a real can-do attitude , resilience and you enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team .
Whilst being flexible and adaptable , you have also strong planning , organizational and time management skills.

Additional Details This job has a full-time weekly schedule.
It includes the option to work remotely.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
