Job DescriptionThe Generali Investments Holding CFO function is looking for the Head of Capital Management & Special Projects whose main responsibilities will be:Coordinate the Capital Planning process, with focus on capital and cash integration and optimization, capital management actions, capital plan monitoring and reportingDefine the GIH sub-group's Capital Allocation framework, the Own Funds projection and implement the related toolsDevelop and maintain policies and guidelines on Capital Management, supporting their local implementationManage the framework of Remittance and Capital Injections ProcessCoordinate capital implications and assessment for M&A transactionsManage proactively the GIH sub-group's capital structure to achieve strategic and financial objectives and maximize financial returnsSupport capital allocation decisions for the different initiatives within the framework of the GIH sub-group strategic and financial objectivesManage the GIH sub-group shareholdings in terms of finance activities involving valuations, impairment tests, management of put optionsSupport the CFO in the management of special projects assigned to the CFO function, acting as PMO, ensuring a proper steering across the different entitiesRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Have a Bachelor Degree in finance, mathematics or alike disciplines with a strong quantitative focus or have a proven record of having acquired such skills through work experienceMinimum 8 years of experience in finance, risk management, ALM function, of which at least 3 years of people management experienceExcellent understanding of balance sheet, regulatory capital matters and capital performance metricsGood understanding of Corporate Legal and Tax mattersAdvanced knowledge of standard software (Excel incl. VBA, Word, PowerPoint)Be fluent in English both in writing and in speakingNice to have:Strong leadership skillsExcellent attitude to critical thinking is needed in order to be able to analyze topics from different perspectives, summarize the full picture, targeting top management representation standardsAdvanced communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to maintain and develop collaborative business relationships with internal stakeholdersCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
