& Pl.
engineering team.Facilitate project expansion initiatives.Ensure continuous production flow.Enhance and develop technological assets.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee vendor and contractor management to support project execution and production efficiency.Contribute to the manufacturing facility strategy and capital project roadmap in alignment with the Process and Plant Engineering site Lead.Assist in quality audit inspections and implement EHS local site programs and safety measures as per current regulations.Conduct feasibility studies on plant and process equipment.Responsible for equipment capacity model analysis and definition.Support maintenance assessment for new equipment and assist in modifying the preventive maintenance program in collaboration with the Maintenance Department.Collaborate with the Maintenance Department and other operational teams to resolve process equipment issues.Assist the Engineering site Lead in the local deployment of global engineering initiatives.Support the implementation of global engineering standard operating procedures (SOP).Manage local engineering SOP, ensuring all engineering documentation is current and meets technical, quality, and safety standards.Assist in the analysis and execution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in coordination with other site functions.Be available for on-call service as needed.Provide support to the site engineering lead in budget management.Manage change control and take ownership of new implementation projects.Accountable for pest control systems in collaboration with the quality department.Responsible for water and energy facility management, monitoring, and optimization projects.DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTSTechnical/Functional ExpertiseAccountable for operational results.Responsible for Production Equipment Life Cycle Management.Leadership (Vision, strategy and business alignment, people management, communication, influencing others, managing change)Lead cross-functional teams for project execution.Manage the process team to promptly address and resolve operational challenges.Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Engage with cross-functional teams for technical implementation and assessment.Identify opportunities beyond the scope of the role and encourage others to adopt innovative practices.Enable the engineering team to collaborate effectively and engage in constructive discussions.Demonstrate the ability to make and implement decisions based on sound business judgment.Decision-making and Autonomy (The capacity and authority to make organizational decisions, autonomy in decision-making, complexity of decisions, impact of decisions, problem-solving)Exercise autonomy in decision-making during engineering projects and implementations, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of issues to higher management.Interaction (The span and nature of one's engagement with others when performing one's job, internal and external relationships):Foster strong collaboration with manufacturing and quality departments, ensuring change control and compliance.Innovation (The required level of scientific knowledge, knowledge sharing, innovation and risk-taking)Maintain a continuous improvement mindset.Implement digital initiatives in collaboration with the Automation department.Complexity (Products managed, mix of businesses, internal and/or external business environment, cultural considerations)Manage Process Engineering within Biotech/Pharma operations and manufacturing environments.Possess experience in bioprocess engineering and expert knowledge of systems, equipment, and automation.EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: (List the essential and desirable education and competency requirements to perform the primary responsibilities of the job.
