The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of consumer healthcare trends, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.Main Responsibilities:Build understanding of CHC business model, key drivers and critical success factors across the regionSupport country team in planning and execution of CHC launches/key activities in line with global strategies, be senior-level sparring partners for country sales marketing teams as well as Country General Managers.Bring global marketing strategy, distribution strategy, detailing, key account management and activation, pricing, advertising/communication, PL management into one business proposition at a country level in coordination with Global function.Lead regionally and support locally monitoring of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for new product development and portfolio expansionEnsure senior voice at country level to support CHC agenda while CHC country teams mature and get more experienceOn-the-job training and development of CHC sales marketing teams in the countriesStrategic oversight and interim support for selection of media and advertising agencies, media planning negotiation, advertising development (next 12-18m before Global Marketing in fully capable to cover all areas)Regional representative towards and enabler of global functions such as Global Marketing and ComEx for the required CHC capabilities build upDrive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiencyRequirements:Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role within major Consumer Healthcare companies, ideally as Business Unit Head in a larger marketExperience in a cluster / regional setting is an advantage. FMCG experience at some point of career (on top of CHC) is advantageExperience of managing PL and marketing spendMinimum of 5 years of experience in an emerging market country (outside Western Europe, US)Proven track record of at least 2-3 successful product launches in a short time frame or ideally overlapping in a highly competitive environmentBachelor's degree in pharmacy, business administration, or a related field. MBA is an advantageIn-depth knowledge of consumer healthcare market dynamics, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive landscapeStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams in different cultural environments to achieve business objectivesExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders (w/o a reporting line)Practical experience with relevant CHC skill set: medical marketing and detailing, media planning, advertising development, trade marketing, trade and consumer promotionIn-depth understanding and experience of managing in-store execution within the context of Modern (chains) and independent trade archetypesUnderstanding and experience with Qualitative and Quantitative researchAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, sales reports, and financial metrics to make informed decisionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applicationsProfessional knowledge English, both verbally and in writing; additional language from GM Region is an advantageWhy join Alfasigma?
