We are looking for you if you thrive in an informal but ambitious work culture and enjoy working with a strong driven team within the Retail business.
In May 2024 we will open our brand-new store in Corso Garibaldi in the Brera area in the center of Milano. We are looking for an inspiring Retail Partner who, together with Rains Retail Team, will make the store a great success.
The roleAs Retail Partner in Rains, you own the store operation through your own entity. Rains provides a "Turn-Key" store to you as Retail Partner including brand new store fit-out and concession goods and stock. No buy-in or up-front payment is expected to be part of Rains as Retail Partner.
As our Retail Partner, you are owning and managing the daily operation of the store, including finding, and developing your staff. One of your main responsibilities will be to integrate new seasonal collections within the store, making sure staff are educated about the latest collections and developments. Furthermore, your task will be to convert walk-in traffic to buying customers and ultimately brand ambassadors by creating energy, excitement, and desire for the product and brand. 
Your responsibilities will also include: 
Showing passion and excitement for the brand and products through storytelling and engaging communication.Strong involvement on the floor welcoming customers.Upholding the visual display of all products in accordance with Rains visual standards.Fostering open and constructive dialogue with your staff to ensure a consistently exceptional experience and contribute to a positive working environment.Productive communication with the Rains Retail Team regarding the store's fulfillment of internal requirements.
 Your profileWe are looking for a Retail Partner who have relevant experience from a similar position, preferably as store manager within the fashion industry. Responsibility and ownership are your primary characteristics, while at the same time you are result-oriented as you set ambitious goals and maintain the highest standards to work towards them. It is important that you can build long-lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and staff. 
Furthermore, we imagine that you have/are:
Able to work solitary, but also as a team player.Excellent communication skills in Italian and skilled English, both oral and written.Able to work in a fastmoving and dynamic environment, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Motivated by learning as a part of becoming an integrated part of a dynamic business.Flexible and able to adapt to different customers, as well as being able to work with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.Preferably living in Milan or at an appropriate short distance.
