Taylor Root has been instructed to source a Global Legal Director to head the international business of an Italian fully owned subsidiary of a US multinational. The role is based in its headquarters in Piacenza (Emilia-Romagna) and will report to the CEO with a strong dotted line to the Associate General Counsel EMEA.
Your responsibilities will include providing legal advice on commercial and business transactions across several jurisdictions, advice on compliance, supporting the DPO on GDPR-related issues and being company secretary for the Italian entity and its foreign subsidiaries.
**Requirements**:
- You will be an Italian qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar.You will have around 10 years of post-qualified experience gained while working in a top-tier law firm and multinational company.
Have strong legal writing ability, analytical skills, and transactional experience.
Have extensive experience in transactional corporate and commercial law, real estate, employment, and intellectual property law.
Fluency in English both oral and written is essential to fill this role.
This job opportunity does not offer remote/flexible working.
