**Job Purpose**

To manage and control all Financial Accounting aspects of the business. Ensuring all records are accurate, up to date and compliant with all relevant accounting standard. Coordinate and supervise the accounting team.

**Responsibilities**:
Treasury and Accounting
- Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
- Lead, manage and monitor accounting functions.
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Manage relationship with accounting consultants and the bank of the Spanish subsidiary.
- Create the amortization tables and provisions.
- Fixed assets additions and write-off or disposals.
- Accounting for payroll, and Cybercard.
- Monitor general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables and other records.
- Monitor and manage the month-end accounting processes (Bank reconciliation, intercompany balance, cash flow, management account, etc.).
- Develop, generate, and manage timely accounting reports.

Preparation of financial statements
- Perform and oversee annual audits ensuring timely completion.
- Preparation of the annual accounts.
- Generate various analyses and financial reports for the management.
- Assist the departments in preparing budget processes and elaborate budget reports to ensure an adequate data collection.

Taxes
- Elaborate and present the taxes within the established deadlines.
- Preparation of the information required by the group and auditors.
- Relationship with lawyers for issues related to the Tax authorities (Inspections, request for information, fines, etc.).

Compliance
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Comply with internal, local and government laws to prepare financial reports, requirements, and tax filings.
- Assist the Finance Director with projects (process improvement, implementation of new tools, etc.)
- To be aware of Kyowa Kirin Group Code of Conduct and associated policies and procedures and other applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Comply with the Kyowa Kirin competences, in terms of expected values and behaviours, in addition to Kyowa Kirin´ HR policies, procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Business Administration bachelor’s degree or Economic related specialty.
- 5 years accounting experience.
- Advanced user of Great Plains or similar systems and advanced user of EXCEL.
- Upper intermediate English Level.
- Accounting and Finance.
