Hydro Building Systems South Europe is looking for a driven and open-minded person to develop within the finance field over the coming years, as management team member

You will report to the Finance Director for Market Area South and collaborate with dedicated and talented people around the globe.

You will be sitting at our office right in the heart of our commercial team in Cernusco, with colleagues from several functions. Some of your team is located in Abruzzo and you will need to travel to the operations regularly.

**Responsibilities**:
The Hydro Building Systems Italy Finance Business Partner and Controlling Manager is responsible for controlling and credit activities and cooperates with the accounting team to ensure the quality of financial information.
In addition to the roles in the Finance Function, as member of the management team, you have to work actively and closely with the business to support the unit development, providing appropriate analysis and proposals of action plans.
- Controlling:_
- Active involvement in business
- Provide monthly analysis of the company’s results and performance (P&L’s, Balance sheet, Cash flow), proposing corrective actions, including monthly forecasting
- Provide support to sales organization and management on financial results
- Proactively analyze customer/portfolio profitability and propose actions
- Provide guidance to management and actively propose actions for improvement
- Lead the yearly financial strategy and business plan processes in tight collaboration with operations, commercial, and other support functions
- Provide market intelligence analysis in collaboration with the Commercial Excellence funtion
- Manage and drive Net Operating Capital to optimize cash flow
- Prepare and assess business cases for investments and contracts
- Credit:_
- Proactively manage the credit risk with tight follow-up of customers and proposing commercial actions
- Responsible for the follow-up of the credit policy and associated procedures with credit management (cash risk, litigation), ensure their establishment and monitor compliance.
- Visit key customers to assess credit risk
- Accounting_: although the accounting team is part of a shared services team and not managed by the Finance business partner & controlling manager, you have to:

- Coordinate accounting with the local and central accounting teams in accordance with the Group guidelines and accounting standards.
- Validate the results and balance sheet in cooperation with local accounting team

- Supervise legal matters (claims, compliancy with local law) in collaboration with Legal
- Responsible for the ICFR documentation and of internal control with internal and external Auditors, except for accounting topics

- Qualifications:_
- Personal Characteristics and work experience
- Strong leadership experience
- Business and goals oriented
- Broad experience across a wide range of finance activities, we think you have gained experience in practice or industry - you have ideally worked for 10 yrs, but an open mind is more important than number of years.
- Comfortable working with tight deadlines such as month end closings
- Willingness and ability to travel mainly in Italy (up to twice per month)
- Experience of SAP and HFM is is an advantage and you need to be an advanced user in Microsoft Office. PowerBI competence is an advantage.
- Strong team-work skills, able to work with a team located in different locations and in cross-country projects
- Problem solving skills, with ability to think laterally
- Good ability to communicate finance to non-finance people
- As the role works with people in several countries, you will need to be fluent in English
- A curious mindset with willingness to learn and develop oneself as well as others
- A structured way of working and a strong drive to deliver results with precision and quality
