Join **McCain** **Foods** as a temporary **Category Manager** in our **Food Service** professional division, supporting our marketing activities and projects. In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing CEU marketing strategies and projects in Italy & Malta, with a strong focus on the digital ecosystem. As part of your responsibilities, you will also support the organization in implementing and monitoring marketing activities targeted at professionals, ensuring brand growth, optimizing budget, and actively participating in team meetings

This is a regional role based in **Bergamo, **Ital**y**.** **McCain** also offers a **hybrid** work policy (60% on location, 40% home office). As part of this **temporary position**, you will have the chance to replace **maternity role** from November 2023 to September 2024, with the possibility of extension.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Marketing Manager in implementing marketing activities and projects for the Food Service
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing communication and promotional activities, both online and offline, targeted at professionals in the food service industry.
- Monitor and analyze marketing investments and propose actions to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in local and international meetings as required.
- Create and monitor digital lead generation campaigns, develop content for social media profiles and websites.
- Stay updated on industry trends, conduct market research, and prepare reports.
- Manage marketing assets at the local level, both physical and digital.
- Coordinate and support the launch of new products and manage the overall product portfolio.
- Handle product quality follow-up, including addressing customer complaints and inquiries.
- Maintain and update product information on McCain's channels and customer portals.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop category vision and support new business activations.
- Assist in the planning and design of events and professional demo activities.
- Customize marketing presentations, product sheets, and catalogs for the sales force and customers.
- Coordinate the creation of customized POS materials in collaboration with agencies and suppliers.
- Manage inbound customer inquiries in synergy with sales support

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's degree is a plus).
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing within FMCG companies (experience in Sales/Trade Marketing in AFH/OOH/FS is a plus).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint. Familiarity with web navigation, social media, and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of graphic design programs (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and digital performance analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different departments.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proactive approach to managing day-to-day activities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Open-minded with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a multinational environment.
- Passion for food and cooking, culinary expertise is a plus.
