**Reporting to Area Manager Center Italy, We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Diabetes Care Italy Team.**
**PRUPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Increases sales and market share of Abbott Diabetes Care(ADC) products through the sale of all available diabetes products. Is responsible to achieve sales plan for the assigned sales territory.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develops and implements plans in order to create sales, maintain and expand ADC business.
- Keeps current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources.
- Maintains good relationships with customers and visits them on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with Distributors and their agents on project dedicated to Pharmacies.
- Writes weekly reports about which customers he has visited.
- Understands and conveys information professionally and accurately.
- Has acquired experience and maturity on glucose monitoring marketplace
- Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
**EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:
- Degree in science as biology, pharmacy or Economics with proper experience (three - five years).
- Knows and applies ADC procedures, policies and code of business conduct.
- Has an elementary knowledge of English language.
- Knows how to operate standard software packages.
- Has a knowledge on how to sell and which strategy to use.
**GEOGRAPHY**: Focus on Veneto with preferred residence in Padova, Vicenza or Rovigo
