Experience within a PR Agency or in-house role
- Experience that demonstrates a comfort in dealing with consumer media contacts across news, lifestyle, and broadcast sectors
- Strong understanding of measuring the impacts and benefits of PR programs
- Experience managing more than one consumer PR, influencer, or content agency, including large scale budgets
- Detailed budget management including resourcing vendors, staying on top of accounting and overseeing all financial deliverables
- Ideally educated to degree level
- Strong competency in basic Office software (Outlook, Excel etc.)

Key job responsibilities
- Implement PR plans for core retail areas covering consumer campaigns, news generation and product placement including categories such as: Consumables (food, health and beauty etc), Private Brands, Hardlines (toys, sports and outdoor, gaming etc)
- Support industry leading integrated Consumer campaigns around our biggest and most meaningful key retail moments (notably Prime Day and Black Friday)
- Work closely with and support the management of Amazon social calendar and influencer campaigns in Italy
- Successfully lead media inquiries related to the retail business
- When required, act as a business partner to Amazon retail category leadership teams across key areas, collaborating with internal stakeholder teams to drive successful program launches
- Write messaging, and media facing materials; pitch and secure top-tier media, including print, broadcast and online outlets

**Skills**:

- Media relations expert - a demonstrated feel for what works to secure high level earned media
- Tactically aware - knowledgeable about what’s going on in the media and with the brand and able to marry the two at short notice for maximum PR benefit
- Cross-Channel Campaign Management - experience managing cross-channel campaigns with both earned and social elements, including the use of paid strategies
- Proactive in the extreme - enjoys taking responsibility and making things happen
- Organised - able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while managing essential admin work
- Language Proficiency - strong, business-focused writing skills in English and Italian
- Adaptable - able to work in a corporate environment
- Exercises good judgment - advising others on the best course of action and managing positive and negative media enquiries
- Social and influencer minded - able to build integrated campaigns that leverage new and emerging digital media including social and influencers
- Retail background - knowledge of retail and online markets
- Collaborative - team player with a willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done
- Moves fast - strong bias for action but maintains exceptionally high standards on the work and the results.
