**YOUR TEAM**

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where physicians, psychologists, biomedical engineers, computational scientists, physicists, chemists, and biologists collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.

The Multiscale Brain Communication Research line is coordinated by Prof. Luciano Fadiga, who has extensive experience in Neurophysiology.

The research focuses on studying the mechanisms by which the brain processes and understands the communicative behaviors of other individuals. This includes the study of sensorimotor communication, in healthy participants, by means of non-invasive neurophysiological methods.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

- Supervision of the Brain Stimulation Lab activities
- Experimental design, set-up validation, data acquisition and data analyses
- Drafting research papers
- Supervising PhD students

**WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE**
- A PhD in neuroscience, experimental psychology, biomedical engineering and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in non-invasive brain stimulation techniques (i.e., TMS) and/or movement analyses
- Advanced experience with Psychtoolbox or PsychoPy (or similar)
- A strong publication record
- The ability to properly report, organize and publish research data
- Documented experience in coaching junior scientists
- Good command in spoken and written English

**EXTRA AWESOME**
- Experience on advanced methods to analyze motion capture data
- Advanced knowledge of the matlab, python or R programming environment
- Experience with programmable electronics (e.g., Arduino)
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem solving attitude
- High motivation to learn

- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
