For our Italian site in Mondovì we are looking for a Production System Trainee.

Your challenges?

The site of Mondovi in Italy is focused on the production of powertrain systems (dual mass flywheels + clutches). Our department is looking for a Production System Engineer to be part of the team for 6 months. The role consists mainly in monitoring the internal production standards and support the kaizen activities of the internal flows of the Autonomous Production Unit (APU) of reference. The trainee is also in charge to develop the Valeo Production System competences of the APU through trainings & coaching.

Your challenges? You will learn how to:

- help to define the Valeo Production System strategy of the Autonomous Production Unit (APU) in accordance with Plant/Site priorities and ensure deployment
- help APU Manager to manage continuous improvement
- continuously detect abnormalities vs standards and react
- support workshop pilots, lead workshops and implement improvement proposals.
- deploy standards & best practices within the APU
- develop your own competences and skills in tools and methodologies useful for the APU
- ensure that rules are taken into account in new projects at appropriate phase
- also manage the maintenance of Valeo production system tools through appropriate audits (like kanban audits): audit organization, performance & follow up
- ensure a lean reporting, promote principles...

Qualifications - External

Let’s talk about you
- You are graduated from an Engineer diploma or a Master degree
- You are interested in the role/context, or production or logistic, or process engineering
- You have these competences: production systems skills/interest; communication skills; organizational/coordination skills; problem analysis and problem solving
- You are also proactive, convincing, persistent, pragmatic, facilitator and trainer
- You can speak Italian (as native language) and have a fluent English. French would be a nice to have
