Scientific Advisor Oncology Pipeline

**Key responsibilities and accountability**

Support TA Lead and Medical Advisor in:

- developing educational campaigns and materials, with responsibility for editing, evaluating and uploading the materials produced for approval, ensuring they are in line with the most updated scientific data.
- developing therapy area reviews, product monographs, slide sets, training packages etc. as appropriate to business and customer needs.
- Preparing and delivering of presentations for internal and cross-functional training programmes and other materials and briefing sessions, ensuring scientific data and medical concepts are understood and consistent with the given strategy.
- Assist/deputise in activating Pos.
- Ensure the medical accuracy and compliance with all statutory requirements, including the Code of Practice as well GSK internal processes and procedures for Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory legislation.
- Ensure that all activities and interactions are conducted with due regard to all applicable local, global and national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, Company policies and accepted standards of best practice.
- Responsible for tracking medical activities and providing regular updates on the plan execution to the TA Lead
- Proactively identify and raise any assigned project outset to map compliance processes and communication with Medical Affairs Team members.
- Ensure that all processes are followed.
- Lead or project run designated medical projects

**Basic qualifications**:

- Life Sciences degree
- Previous experience working within multiple, cross-departmental projects (at least 2 years, Medical Affairs team experience preferred)
- Able to pick up new systems and processes quickly
- Ability to interpret scientific data and information on pharmaceutical products
- Ability to facilitate internal relationships and network within the LOC Company
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload, and think clearly under pressure and time constraints
- Awareness of the legal and ethical issues affecting the promotion of new and existing products
- Ability to influence and negotiate across a cross-functional team
- Proactive, self motivated, self-reliant
