**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
**As Regional Sales Lead**, you will act as our locally based sales representative "on the ground" **in Italy **, also responsible for sales **in Spain**. You will be **based in Milan**. You will drive the growth of the Zalando Platform in this region and help to increase local consumer relevance by signing new partners to bring exciting and relevant assortment to our platform.

- Drive a selective regional partner acquisition approach that maximises qualitative growth while building a consistently strong sales pipeline, targeting the right brands and assortment, based exclusively on the approved annual hunting list.
- Own the conversion of the hunting list through the creation and delivery of presentations, conduct compelling sales pitches, and negotiations.
- Promote and represent Zalando within local fashion industry events, trade associations and networks and be adept at turning these opportunities into acquisition growth opportunities based on the huntinglist.
- Build a strong internal stakeholder network with neighbouring teams, especially the internal market team to consult on hunting initiatives for locally relevant partners
- You have the end-to-end responsibility from first contact to contract conclusion and, in collaboration with our Solution Architects, ensure your partners have a smooth onboarding journey enabling them for live business.
- Own your success: Develop and support the success of your market(s) by driving country specific sales tasks, KPIs and goals, improving cross-team collaboration, evaluating and developing skills.

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You are passionate about Sales and a strong negotiator, with minimum 7+ years of sales management in the lifestyle industry (e.g. fashion, sportswear, beauty) and/or business development experience at a top tier ecommerce or a similar organisation.
- You have strong business and technical acumen and an ability to find shared wins with a proven record of accelerating sales through alliances & partnerships. Experience in SaaS and/or the lifestyle industry would be a plus.
- Speed, agility and resilience characterise you: Being a highly organised commercial leader you have the endurance to deliver multiple business cases and a project roadmap within set deadlines. Your superior knowledge of business transactions (such as B2B + B2C commercial agreements) and your PMO skills are unrivalled.
- Developing engagement strategies to connect with external senior leaders comes naturally to you. You have a strong network within the European fashion ecosystem and you can nurture and leverage these relationships to accelerate our growth.
- An agile mind, strong communication and influencing skills are self-evident for you. Solid experience of developing strategic relationships and managing internal and external stakeholders, whilst working within cross functional teams, maintaining engagement and ensuring commercial momentum. Fluent Italian and English are required, Spanish is a plus.
