B. Braun Avitum Italy, leading company in the field of medical device, is looking for a Strategic Procurement Leader

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Independent analysis and observation of the international procurement market
- Management of international purchasing activities for existing and new projects
- Identification, assessment and development of suppliers, support in qualification
- Conduct price negotiations and develop cost reduction potential as well as “make or buy” concepts
- Drafting and negotiating purchasing contracts (including service, work and framework contracts) with suppliers
- Business support in supplier audits

**Professional competencies**:

- Successfully completed studies in the field of economics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree
- Professional experience in the above-mentioned or comparable position, desirable in an international environment
- Very good knowledge of English

**Personal competencies**:

- Strong negotiation skills as well as very good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and strategic skills as well as negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel
- Expertise in the medical device field will be considered a plus
