Sales Manager Beverage, Beverage and Casing Bu

Position Overview:
The Sales Manager for the Beverage and Casing BU will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships and expanding the company’s market share in the beverage and casing sector. This role involves managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing accounts and achieving revenue targets in line with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to grow the Beverage and Casing BU
- Identify and target new business opportunities to expand market share
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closure, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business threats and opportunities
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute product promotions, campaigns and events
- Work with the product development and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management
Market & Product Expertise
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations and market dynamics in the beverage and casing sector
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings and how they meet customer needs
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build networks and stay up to date on developments
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, preferably within the beverage or food packaging industry
- Strong knowledge of the beverage and casing markets, with a network of relevant industry contacts
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional, collaborative setting
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings
