**Are you ready to take on a key role that combines strategic oversight, team leadership, and market expansion?**

We are looking for a **Regional Sales Manager** to play a key role for strengthening the brand and reputation in the marketplace. As a Regional Sales Manager you will take responsibility for managing the sales function and sales professionals on the Sales Team, ensuring sales resources are appropriately deployed, customer needs are accurately identified, and solutions are provided to meet customer and business needs. In your role, you will monitor the key markets to identify information with strategic significance and work with marketing to develop sales operating plans and ensure alignment with the plan. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing the skills and competencies of the Sales Team. You may also have an opportunity to manage significant and/or strategic accounts.

In your role, you will report to the Head of Sales and the your position can be based in any Ahlstrom location in Europe.

**As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include**:

- Finding potential customers and creating positive relationships.
- Forecasting sales goals and keeping tabs on the needs of the market.
- Establishing key priorities, sales goals, and sales quotas for each sales representative territory within the region.
- Developing sales plans, forecasts, campaigns, and strategies to achieve sales objectives and profitability growth.
- Developing and directing field strategies and allocating resources to grow market share and profitability against volume targets.
- Relaying customer insights and sales data to R&D product team and operations to support product development.
- Monitoring sales goals progress.
- Coaching and leading his/her team to achieve sales goals. Delivering reports on sales goals, targets, and additional sales insights.

**To be successful in the role, you need**
- 5+ years of Marketing or Sales experience.
- Previous experience in coffee and/or beverage single serve packaging industry is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and analytical approach fact based.
- Professional communication skills in English, Italian, German. French and Spanish is a plus.
- Previous experience in leading teams.
- Strongly motivated a capable to work in uncertain scenarios.
- Comfortable in preparing presentation to present market analysis, sales datas, financial targets.
- Post-secondary education focusing on Business or Marketing.
- Availability to travel approximately 40% of the time.
- Solid experience in using Office suite and CRM tools.
