Banqueting & Events Assistant - Hotel Cipriani

Our iconic Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel in Venice, is looking for a Banqueting & Events Assistant for the 2023 season in order to create memorable events, parties and weddings in our lush private gardens or by our legendary pool.

**Main tasks**
- Conduct site inspections for potential clients
- Assist our Banqueting & Events Manager in preparing materials like Banquet Event Orders, proposals, contracts etc.
- Distribute BEOs to the hotel departments and answer questions and requests about events
- Tour and inspect banquet rooms and set ups for meeting and events
- Work under close supervision of our Banqueting & Events Manager to ensure all aspects of the event have been cost effective and serviced both clients and hotel needs
- Follow up at the end of events.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent English, knowledge of Italian would be beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and actively listen in order to provide optimal and tailor made service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to exercise utmost discretion with confidential information.
