**Position Summary**:
The Head of Digital provides strategic and operational direction to STIT’s digital sales operation. The position directs the efforts of the Digital Success Manager and Trainers. The head of Digital ensures goals and forecasts for the team are consistent with the organization’s revenue plans and strategic objectives.

**Major Responsibilities of the Position**:

- Develops sales objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, and profitability. Ensures that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization’s revenue plans and strategic objectives.
- Ensures accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and monitors actual results to evaluate performance to target. Defines and implements measures to continuously improve sales results (growth, profit margins, and productivity).
- Leads and guides the digital team to ensure achievement of revenue plans and strategic objectives. Regularly reviews the sales team results and performance and defines adequate measures to continuously improve the team’s ability to perform at high levels.
- Ensures adherence to the Straumann Sales Compliance policy and ensures compliance with the STIT pricing and commercial policy.
- Liaising with respective corporate functions to further develop the Business Franchise in the local market.
- Works closely with STIT Sales and Marketing departments in order to develop and define marketing and education initiatives as well as support respective execution of such initiatives with sales campaigns.
- Monitors the digital team’s technical skills and capabilities and defines adequate measures in order to ensure industry leading and comprehensive technical skills and capabilities of the sales.

**Other Duties**:

- Regularly reviews the structure of digital team organization in order to optimize the productivity of the sales team and leverage revenue opportunities with optimal cost and resource allocation.
- Keeps executive-level management informed of departmental progress and problems.
- Assists in sales activities on major accounts and the negotiation of sales terms and conditions for special cases.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree required, fluent in English.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with at least 5 years of experience in sales management.
- Extensive Medical Device industry and in particular Dental and Digital industry experience and prior sales experience with Dental Technicians as the principal point of contact required.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively direct the organization’s domestic digital sales operations in order to maximize revenues and profits.
- Excellent skills in time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, and presentation as well as strong organizational and analytical skills. In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices for dental devices and investment goods.
