**Job Overview**

To assure the smooth functioning of all maintenance activities of the plant in order to guarantee on-time production and minimize downtime due to electrical-related issues while being responsible for all electrical engineering functions of the plant.

**Education/ Attributes**
- BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- An innovative result-oriented individual with a positive attitude

**Responsibilities**
- Proposing, estimating, planning, implementing, and developing all new electrical projects
- Analyzing, identifying drawbacks, and suggesting and implementing developments in the existing systems
- Coordinating and handling all electrical repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Handling of electrical installation and preventive maintenance work of new machines
- Overseeing the proper maintenance of power & control systems of machinery, power feeding & distribution, AC/DC motors and drives up to 1500kW, PLC-controlled automated systems with SCADA, hydraulic systems including industrial power packs, generators, synchronizing panels and ATS panels and compressors, chillers, and boilers.
- Overseeing the maintenance of stock levels of items required for electrical maintenance work and following up on the re-ordering of complex machine components etc.

**Experience**
- 5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineer with exposure to Electrical Maintenance, CAPEX and Continuous Improvement Projects
- Hands-on experience as stated in the tire manufacturing process will be an added advantage.
