What does our Internship involve?

Securing an internship is an exciting adventure. We are looking for students in their last year at university or having recently graduated to join us for an initial period of 6 months on a full day contract. If you’re eager for new challenges and you value diverse perspectives in a global environment, there’s a place for you at Franklin Templeton.

Our internships are designed to enhance your academic background by providing hands-on, relatable experience as you work on real projects with real impact. We have two internships available, one will support Sales Support/Client Service activities (Retail and Institutional channel) and the other our Retail Sales team. During the internship you will learn from industry experts, company leaders, and peers to help you develop personally and professionally.

What are the projects and responsibilities of the Interns?
- Sales Support/Client Service_
- Client requests (i.e commentary funds, MIFID&ESG requests)
- Marketo, Database and CRM Management
- Portfolio Inquiry Team requests
- Morningstar Portal
- Update of product offer
- Reporting
- Supporting the business development of current clients
- Working on the content (leadership thoughts, insights): checking translations
- Retail Sales_
- Supporting the business development of current clients i.e., preparing presentations
- Supporting Sales team with daily tasks i.e. client queries and follow-up.
- Proactively seek out interesting insights/analysis to support the sales process, leveraging documents and research produced internally by our investment teams.
- Working on the content (leadership thoughts, insights): checking translations and supporting the leveraging trough different media
- Assisting at internal/external events
- Compliance rooting of presentations and marketing material

- Strong interest in the financial services industry

- Effective English and Italian verbal & written communication, and presentation skills
- Solid analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Self-directed and goal oriented
- Ability to multi-task while meeting multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, in particular Power Point and Excel
- Eagerness to learn and a desire to be a team player
