**Job Purpose**:

- Primary Foreign Exchange Sales to a broad range of European Institutional Investors across Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal, covering Asset Managers, CBs, Banks in cash, derivatives, structured products.
- Coverage responsibilities instrumental to the broader continental team including contribution to EMEA.

**Job Background/context**:

- The position sits within the FX Institutional Sales team in Milan. The product trading responsibility sits in Paris and London.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of the Institutional Sales team within FXLM in Milan, supporting the team with its objective to be the industry leading coverage team and trusted advisor with our most important clients, to concentrate on securing the most economically appropriate share of wallet by managing our valued resources responsibly, and to protect our clients and the franchise through our relentless commitment to control built on the highest standards of personal ethics and responsibility.
- FX product expertise to support Institutional clients flow trade requirements from price inquiry to complete advisory service.
- Support, develop and enhance relationships with the existing client base, leading to identifying new contacts and developing prospects, aiming to build a deep and broad personal “trusted advisor” relationship.
- Detailed understanding of pre
- and post-transaction lifecycle, to become end-to-end owner of executed transaction related issues.
- Help prospective clients with their enquiries and increase the number of new live trading accounts - active role to acquisition and maintain of new client relationships.
- Ensuring being up to date with the latest products and services to proficiently sell these to the customer.
- Support the team on all daily tasks including preparing of trade ideas, onboarding, etc.
- Ensuring you are up to date with all compliance regulation; trainings, to perform your responsibilities under the highest standards.

**Development Value**:

- Retain the Citi client relationships in a profitable, long term value business.

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- Experience in FX Markets.
- Experience working in a senior Institutional Sales role with high value clients.
- Deep understanding of how buy-side clients operate, including AUM, strategy, client structure and operating mandate, interactions between the variety of relevant buying centers.
- Strong knowledge in Capital Markets and Macroeconomics.
- Knowledge of client needs and risk regulatory.

**Skills**:

- Italian and English fluency (written and spoken) is essential.
- Good analytical ability.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively within a high volume / high pressure environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent University degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

**Competencies**
- Personal skills: excellent interpersonal skills / team player; very responsible, committed, and self-motivated individual.
- Highly accurate worker with a high level of attention to customer / detail; perform under pressure; manage demands from several sources & working to deadlines.
- Analytical: assimilate quickly new information and relate it to the needs of the client base.
- Pro-activity: identify situations that could result in new business; develop / deliver solutions tailored to the client

This Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015.
