**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Our unit New Business Development & SustainabilityProcess Catalysts secures a long-term innovation pipeline through dedicated collaboration with licensors and strives to deliver financial returns through above average growth in emerging sustainability markets.
- Jointly with the team, you continuously explore market opportunities with clear focus on the commercialization of innovative catalyst solutions for low-carbon process technologies, developed with our partners.
- The further development of strong alliances with our existing partners and the establishment of relationships to new partners at process licensors and technology providers is an essential part of your function.
- You will generate new leads for our sustainability-enabling solutions, develop and expand the resulting revenue from the leads.
- Furthermore, you will prepare commercial offers and drive the negotiation of development and sales contracts.
- You will be in close alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure timely production and delivery of our novel innovative products.
- In your role, you will develop and execute strategy tasks, establish technology roadmaps on sustainability for the Process Catalysts portfolio and you will continuously assess and quantify emerging catalyst market segments around sustainability.
- Lastly, you will contribute to the strategic positioning of our topics publicly and ensure visibility of Process Catalysts' unit at conferences, workshops, expert panels, both external and internal, also writing content for virtual formats and channels.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- PhD/master´s degree in science or engineering, and including an innovation-driven mindset.
- At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in catalysis, process engineering, technology management or product marketing sales experience is a definite plus.
- Interest and expertise on sustainability topics, alternative feedstocks, circularity etc.
- Independent way of working with high intrinsic motivation and spirit to get things done.
- Excellent communication skills in English additional language skills are a plus (Chinese, Spanish, German).
