The individual should be passionate about providing a high-quality employee experience to end-users and business partners, enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment and have excellent communication and relationship skills to work collaboratively with process partners at all levels of the organization while demonstrating expertise in employee benefits delivery including customer experience, operations, implementations and process management.

**Position Responsibilities**:
Representative major tasks performed with mínimal direction and considerable latitude, but not limited to the following:

- Provides an advocacy role for employees with concerns related to benefit plans
- Researches, respond to and resolves inquiries and problems of various complexities referring to established precedents and policies regarding benefit issues and concerns. May be called upon to resolve unique situations or issues in partnership with the Total Rewards partner for the region.
- Performs day-to-day administrative functions relating to benefits as well as providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) consultation to team members
- Manages open enrolments and supports the Total Rewards partner with renewal(s) processes.
- Develops and implements a multi-year road-map for benefit operations for countries assigned and strategizes global initiatives to support road-map realization to influence the future course of the team
- Conducts group and individual benefit induction/education sessions and presentations as required. Responds to unique questions.
- Researches and validates general benefits data; performs other location specific functions (e.g. life claims etc.).
- Coordinates employee benefits data transfer with vendors and internal customers. Validates and/or corrects employee data.
- Researches and prepares ad hoc reports for review. Researches, reviews and compiles benefit data for audits and other legal inquiries, as directed. Compiles data and responds to benefit surveys.
- Compiles information relevant to benefit appeals from the appropriate sources and forwards to supervision.
- Collaborates with the Total Rewards partner to recommend benefit plan design changes and facilitates end to end implementation of new or modified benefit plans to maintain market competitive benefit programs
- Monitors and analyzes legislative and regulatory actions that impact benefit plans. Audits and monitors performance metrics and standards.
- Researches and documents benefit provisions related to corporate restructuring/entity change as required, developing solutions to complex internal administrative procedures and process or system requirements
- Supports benefit contract negotiations; audits vendor/carrier compliance to performance standards and develops improvement plans as necessary.
- Supports union negotiations (as applicable) regarding benefits; assists in analyzing benefit questions that arise during negotiations and responds to benefits related questions; assists in comparing proposal to other contracts (internal and external) to recommend/implement solutions consistent with organization objectives
- Other duties as assigned including leading project activities to support global standardization, governance, operationalization of benefit initiatives and regular contribution to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards across the team

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Fluent in Italian and Spanish, with French preferred
- In-depth experience with relevant government laws, regulations and compliance impacting the functional responsibilities of the occupation
- Proven experience of employee benefits (statutory and/or non-statutory) for assigned countries
- Proficiency in supporting employee benefit handling for employees that are temporarily assigned to international locations
- Ability to:

- Perform work with mínimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assigned work
- Effectively integrate multiple resources and organizations to quickly and effectively resolve emerging issues
- Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
- Evaluate job tasks and processes on how well they help meet team objective(s); identifying non-value-adding components and barriers
- Formulate change strategies to process efficiencies; seek input from others to evaluate options for change and encourage buy-in
