Our Antitrust, Regulation and Foreign Investments team in Milan advises on all types of EU and Italian competition law and a broad range of regulatory law, and assist clients in obtaining merger control and foreign investments ("Golden Power") clearances.

**Team overview**
You will be part of a cross-border team based in Milan advising on a full range of EU and domestic competition matters, including: domestic and multinational merger and foreign investment control, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, appeals of infringement decisions before EU courts and domestic courts, market investigations, state aid and public procurement.
Ashurst combines the benefits of a leading Antitrust, Regulation and Foreign Investment practice with a supportive and collegiate environment. The firm is looking to make a long term investment in a strong lawyer who is similarly looking to make a long term career commitment to competition and EU law.
**Essential skills and experience**
- 2 years PQE
- 1-3 years in Competiton and EU Law
- Strong academic credentials including a postgraduate or LL.M. in European and Competition law
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, and fluency in another EU language is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Proactive commercial approach with excellent business development skills
- Client facing experience and the ability to understand and respond effectively to client needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in legal research and writing, and proficiency in using relevant legal databases and software
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and client service mindset
