Location: Heidelberg (Germany), Vittuone (Italy) or Madrid (Spain). Among GPM Din Rail Devices, GPG Platform, GPG Energy Distribution, Smart Buildings Division, Electrification Business, you will support to optimize the product/system/service portfolio and return on investment. Ensure ABB has a full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform these requirements into product/system/service specifications and development activities. You will report to the Global Product Manager.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manage line protection devices from both a technical and a business perspective, establish an international network, and represent the voice of the customer within our organization.
- Perform in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identify customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and take the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process.
- Acting as interface between global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etc.
- Take the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future.
- Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing.
- Manage the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline.
- 3-4 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred.
- Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes.
- Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation completes the profile.
- Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken.
