**What’s new with Aptar**

We have an exciting position open for an **Operational Excellence Coordinator, Aptar Chieti**. The mission of this position is to promote and lead an optimization culture using Continuous Improvement technics and spirit to have on a daily basis a significant impact on Operations performances. In detail he/she will work closely with the APU Director to challenge the status quo and create the desire to change to increase the performance.

**This is how your journey begins**:

- **Culture & Training**
- deploy CI standard methods, technics, tools and rules
- develop the CI culture at each level of the plant
- organize trainings for CI, based on skills and versatility matrix evaluation
- **Shopfloor (Gemba)**
- Identify and develop CI workshops inside plants through working groups covering multi skilled team members
- Lead kaizen events in manufacturing to reduce bottlenecks & leadtimes, increase capacities,and extend from site lean manufacturing to the site lean management
- Optimize waste elimination on manufacturing shopfloor and others plant’s departments
- **Benchmark with other Aptar sites or external Companies**
- analyze benchmarks and best practices
- identify the possibilities to duplicate in some specific areas
- participate to the European transversal workshops
- **Reporting**
- validate with team members and site controller CI saving and all CI initiatives opportunities
- challenge and define CI saving budget

**What you will bring on the journey**

**Education**:
1. BS degree Operations CI Management, Engineering or equivalent experience

2. Training in Green and/or Black Belt Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

Experience in a similar role is required.

Skills/abilities:
1. Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills

2. Effective problem solving and process analysis skills

3. Must be detail oriented, quality conscious, with excellent organizational skills

4. Ability to motivate team and lead improvement within the organization
