Located in an 18th-century palazzo, Rocco Forte House is made up of five palatial private apartments. Above, a stately roof terrace surveying the Spanish Steps. Unbridled access to spas, bars and Fulvio Pierangelini restaurants of Rome’s foremost hotels: Hotel de la Ville and de Russie. A contemporary proposition, built on Rocco Forte’s rich Italian tradition. This is the height of elegant Roman living.

**The Position**

**HOUSE AGENT**

**Main Purpose**:
You will be the main reference for our Guests: your goal is to engage a personalised and empathic relationship with them, in order to provide a flawless and unique experience and provide them with all the services they may require.
**Reports to**: House Manager.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Carry out all Front Desk operations, according to the company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards at all times: check-in, check-out, billing, apartment orientation, providing information to Guests.
- Responsible for providing each Guest a warm and efficient arrival and departure process.
- Build and maintain an individual and professional relationship with Guests, being their reference point.
- Handle all Guests’ requests and be proactive in selling relevant services.
- Manage advance payments, guests’ billings and be responsible for the relevant accounting tasks.
- Coordinate the housekeeping and maintenance service in line with guests’ preferences and service standards.
- Coordinate delivery of services required from Guests.
- Be responsible for H&S compliance for the duration of the shift.
- Be updated about the events in town and willing to communicate them to the Guests.

**Competencies required**:

- Collaboration: be open with colleagues and proactively offer support. Appreciate teamwork within the department. Treat colleagues with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position level or background.
- Communication: present information clearly and with confidence. Ask questions to ensure understanding. Act as point of contact for the Guests with the hotel and with the external suppliers.
- Personal effectiveness & Emotional intelligence: manage own emotions in challenging situations. Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of others. Accept new tasks and responsibilities willingly and with a positive approach. Able to follow guidelines and priorities assigned by HOD in order to achieve goals in a timely and satisfactory way.
- Business orientation: understand how personal and department performance affects the business. Demonstrates a good knowledge of the property, its products and services. Recognizes and understands guests, so as to actively seek out sales opportunities for Rocco Forte products and services.
- Self-developer: open to and accept constructive feedback and use it to improve. Take on new learning opportunities willingly. Share his/her knowledge with colleagues.
