GeoSolutions is looking for talented software engineers for the Frontend Web Developer position which would mainly involve designing and implementing web-based geospatial applications as well as providing support for our flagship open source frontend product MapStore (https://mapstore.geosolutionsgroup.com/).

Main Responsibilities are as follows:

- Design and implementation of new MapStore features
- Performing Code Reviews
- Providing guidance and leadership to other member of the MapStore team

Qualifications are as follows:

- 3+ years of experience as frontend developer with React-JS ecosystem
- 1+ years of experience with webmapping applications & visualizing geospatial data
- Working knowledge of mapping frameworks like Leaflet, OpenLayers, Cesium, Maplibre is required
- Knowledge of web development (REST Services) with Python or Java is a plus
- Being fluent in English, both written and spoken
- If you have no experience with developing webmapping frontends your application will not be considered

Note that our intention is to establish a long-term relationship.

We are a remote first company, however the ideal candidate should work from a time zone between GMT-1 and GMT+3.

Relocation is not requested and as such we are not envisioning any relocation support package.

Notice that the selection process will most probably include an exercise to test your React/Redux skills.
