Microbiological Laboratory Manager

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leading organization in the field of life sciences, as a Team Leader, QC Micro. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the environmental control area through the organization of activities in the microbiological laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards procedures. You will work closely with the entire organization to ensure compliance and product quality. Your responsibilities will include drawing up study protocols and reports for environmental monitoring, leading and handling external inspections, participating in calls with customers to support technical discussions, collaborating in handling laboratory investigations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards. As a Management Representative for the microbiological laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in a scientific area or equivalent experience, confirmed experience in the pharma/chemistry industry, and at least 2 years of people management experience. You will also need to have strong leadership skills, including coaching, delegation, and motivation, as well as the ability to work across multiple functions and subject areas. You will be a role model leader in developing and motivating people at all levels, creating an energetic and forward-looking environment, and building trustful and strong networking relationships. You will also need to have knowledge of the main techniques of microbiological, GMP, and national/international regulations, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. This role requires a wide degree of flexibility, multitasking, and open-minded demeanor, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem-solve.
