About Valmet:

As a global leader in the pulp, paper, and energy industries, Valmet is committed to innovation and excellence. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Lucca office as a Recruiting and Training Specialist on a 1-year temporary contract.

This role will involve managing recruiting and selection activities, including drafting job postings, conducting interviews, and updating reports. The successful candidate will also establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions, promote School Work Alternation projects, and manage internships.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruiting and selection activities, including briefing with hiring managers and drafting job postings.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions, such as schools and universities.
  • Promote School Work Alternation projects and manage internships.
  • Cooperate with the team to promote employer branding, including participation in job and career fairs.
  • Identify training needs, design, and deliver training programs.
  • Organize and perform funded, non-funded, and internal training courses.
  • Track employee training, maintain training archives, and update reports.
  • Support employees with various work needs and participate in projects.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current processes and contribute to the design of new solutions.
  • Design and carry out internal surveys to investigate employee experience and engagement.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects, development initiatives, and the roll-out of new or revised HR policies and processes.

Main Requirements:

  • Degree in psychology, communications, or economics, followed by an HR master.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent spoken and written Italian and English are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Problem-solving skills.
