Position Summary

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Consultant to join our Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CSCC) team in Milan. This role is crucial in assisting clients from the corporate and financial sectors to harness opportunities and mitigate risks associated with the transition to a low carbon economy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team to support clients in developing and executing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and reduction strategies.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance related to energy and carbon management.
  • Provide expert advice on climate-related strategies and policies, focusing on energy transition and physical risk management.
  • Engage in client projects, addressing challenges in climate change inventory management, sustainability strategy formulation, and sustainable finance.
  • Conduct GHG data analysis, performance evaluations, and define science-based GHG targets.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant technical degree.
  • Experience in sustainability consulting, ESG strategy, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of GHG accounting principles and methodologies, including GHG Protocol and SBTi.
  • The ability to recommend and justify suitable methodologies for GHG inventories and target setting.
  • Insight into climate change dynamics and the transition to a low carbon economy.
  • Experience managing projects or tasks within larger initiatives.
  • Effective project planning and management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent technical writing abilities and report synthesis skills.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
