About the RoleAs a Customer Activation Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our sales teams to provide them with the necessary insights, growth drivers, and tools to execute Diageo's commercial plan effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Plan Execution
- Develop and implement channel commercial activation and growth drivers plans.
- Work with the sales team to ensure excellent execution of commercial plans.
- Lead the implementation of key growth driver initiatives.
- Ensure efficient selection of outlets for brand and segmentation activation.
- Develop practical solutions to overcome operational barriers.
- Analyze competition and market trends through field visits and internal data sources.
- Identify opportunities within the channel and region of responsibility.
- Manage the distribution of materials to sales teams and outlets.
- Monitor and report execution results against set KPIs.
- Make decisions on logistics for outlet activation.
- Manage budget tracking for commercial activation.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Commercial Acumen
- Understand the commercial opportunity and customer segmentation.
- Ability to plan for excellent execution and monitor in-market execution.
- Understanding of spend, volume, margin, and profit performance.
- Ability to find imaginative solutions and pursue opportunities.
- Identify clear priorities and focus on them.
- Build relationships and demonstrate integrity.
- Project management knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables on tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Previous experience in a channel or customer environment is desirable.
