Job Title:

Investment Banking Associate

Job Summary:

Nomura is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Italy Coverage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of various deals in the region, including M&A, DCM, equity advisory, and solutions businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of deals in the Italy Coverage team, including M&A, DCM, equity advisory, and solutions businesses.
  • Conduct financial analysis, strategic analysis, and due diligence to support deal execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders in the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including M&A, Leverage Finance, Debt Capital Markets, and Equity Capital Markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
Requirements:
  • Proven background in M&A / Corporate Finance within investment banking, corporate, or a boutique environment.
  • Significant experience in the infrastructure and energy space.
  • Proven track-record in buy-side and sell-side M&A and debt/equity financing.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, including ability to perform data analysis and excellent financial modelling experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent Italian and English language skills.
