Job Title: Medical Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Underwriter to join our team at SCOR. As a Medical Underwriter, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing individual medical and financial risks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and updating of medical and financial underwriting manuals and guidelines.
  • Apply sophisticated underwriting procedures to assess medical and financial risks for facultative clients.
  • Handle and manage different types of claims, ensuring a competitive turnaround time while maintaining SCOR standards.
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams to explain underwriting decisions and provide guidance on medical and financial underwriting procedures.
  • Collaborate with business development and pricing teams to develop new products and benefits.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a focus on life reinsurance.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of medical and financial underwriting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • International mindset and ability to work with diverse teams.
