Role Description

We are seeking a motivated Service Technician Team Lead to join our team in the Calabria Region. As a Service Technician Team Lead, you will work closely with other service technicians to perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and troubleshooting inside wind turbines, as well as provide on-site supervision for the team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics, and be able to analyze and diagnose faults in electronic and electrical systems. They will also be responsible for supervising, administering, and motivating members of the team, ensuring company HSE and quality standards are met.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Handling unscheduled minor corrections, such as spare parts requests and tool allocation
  • Coordinating local service bases, including service teams and shared tools
  • Supporting teams with local inventory management
  • Ensuring correct waste disposal and handling
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure quality, HSE, and facilities standards
  • Managing vehicle maintenance and equipment
  • Preparing tools lists and updating inventory
  • Interface with local customer site managers as needed
  • Checking and approving work reports and material consumption
  • Supporting teams with technical issues and contacting technical support

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the electricity or mechanical industry as a trouble shooter, and experience in the wind industry is considered an advantage. They will also have basic English skills, both written and verbal, as some documentation and tasks are completed in English.
