About the Role:

IT001 Marsh Spa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team in Milan. As a leading company in the areas of risk, strategy, and people, we are committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients while upholding the highest standards of legal compliance and ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and dispute resolution.
  • Represent the organization to minimize legal, compliance, and regulatory risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to business and legal standards.
  • Draft, review, and approve policies, procedures, contracts, and related documents for business operations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and provide reporting on a variety of legal, compliance, regulatory, and contractual matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and provide proactive advice and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Law.
  • At least 5 years' of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Previous international working experience in a similar role would be considered a plus, especially if related to the Eastern Mediterranean region.
  • Experience in handling international sanctions screening would be considered a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Insurance-specific laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
  • Commercially focused, culturally sensitive with excellent communication skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in Italian and English; knowledge of either Arabic, Turkish, or Hebrew would be considered a plus.
  • Ability to support and embrace change in a fast-paced environment.
