We are seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to join the Wolters Kluwer Global Law & Compliance Department, providing support to the Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory division operations. The selected candidate will deliver practical legal support to enterprises offering software and content solutions to legal and compliance professionals. You will oversee a legal professional who assists these enterprises. This position also encompasses managing corporate governance and regulatory adherence at the Wolters Kluwer Italia level across two divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the principal legal consultant to the CEO of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Italia and the board of directors of Wolters Kluwer Italia;
  • Supervising a legal professional to ensure efficient delivery of legal support across various business functions;
  • Providing thorough legal advice on diverse matters including corporate governance, commercial, regulatory, and intellectual property issues;
  • Collaborating with various teams within the organization to advise on legal challenges, risks, best practices, and compliance efforts;
  • Assisting in structuring, drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements and public tenders;
  • Developing standard contracts, policies, and legal procedures, and educating business teams on contracting and legal risks;
  • Managing disputes, litigation, and relationships with external legal counsel;
  • Working alongside colleagues to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services and contributing to the department's goals.

Your Profile:

  • You are a fully qualified Italian lawyer;
  • You have a minimum of eight to ten years of experience in an internationally operating organization or international law firm;
  • You possess a solid understanding of contract, corporate, intellectual property, privacy, and information technology laws;
  • You exhibit independence, strong prioritization, and team leadership skills;
  • You have exceptional legal insight, analytical capabilities, and communication skills;
  • You are fluent in both Italian and English.
